Kaizer Chiefs without 8 players for crucial Zambia trip

Coach Fernando Da Cruz will be without a number of key Kaizer Chiefs players as his side faces the Red Arrows this weekend.

Kaizer Chiefs return to continental action this weekend when they travel to Zambia to face Red Arrows in the Confederation Cup.

The Glamour Boys are desperate to get back to winning ways after dropping points in three successive matches.

This weekend’s clash in Ndola is a great chance for Fernando Da Cruz’ side to turn the tide and reach the 2026 CAF Confed Cup group stages, but it won’t be easy given their injury challenges.

Fernando Da Cruz will be without Pule Mmodi, Nkanyiso Shinga, Khanyisa Mayo, Lebohang Maboe, Adolf Mtasingwa, Siphesihle Ndlovu, Langelihle Phili and Brandon Petersen for this weekend’s clash due to injury.
