Manchester City could be excluded from European competition for up to 10 years if their appeal against a financial misconduct ruling is rejected, according to Teamtalk.
The potential sanction relates to numerous financial breaches which an independent commission found the club guilty of committing between 2009 and 2018.
Manchester City have disputed the commission’s verdict and lodged an appeal. UEFA could impose the lengthy European ban if that challenge is unsuccessful.
The club are competing in the Champions League this season. They suffered a 4-2 home defeat by Paris Saint-Germain earlier this week, with Enzo Maresca’s side beaten in the match.
