Tottenham are aiming to strengthen their attack even further this winter, targeting another Premier League-proven signing in Kevin Schade.

Tottenham Hotspur are still searching for balance in attack despite significant summer transfer window investment.

A £394 million outlay on ten players hasn’t turned the Lilywhites’ fortunes around, with the club sitting 19th in the Premier League table.

Tottenham eye Brentford’s Kevin Schade

The inclusion of Manchester City pair Omar Marmoush and Savio has done little to improve Spurs’ attacking output. Now, according to TeamTalk, Tottenham have set their sights on another Premier League winger.

It is understood that Brentford’s Kevin Schade is on the radar ahead of the winter transfer window, with Roberto De Zerbi keen to strengthen his forward line.

Schade has made an impressive start to life in the Premier League this season, scoring three goals – as many as the entire Spurs squad combined.

His rise has been notable, even earning the 24-year-old a call-up to the German national side under Jurgen Klopp.

Arsenal and Liverpool join race for Schade

Tottenham are not alone in monitoring Schade. Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea are also keeping tabs on the German winger.

Reports suggest that any January move would cost more than £60 million, with Brentford determined not to let him go easily. The Bees are keen to extend Schade’s contract beyond its current 2028 expiry, which would allow them to demand an even higher fee.

Spurs do have cover out wide, with Mathys Tel, Mykhailo Mudryk, Savio and Xavi Simons all capable of playing in wide roles. Signing Schade could hinder the development of some of these players.

It remains to be seen whether Tottenham will follow up on their interest.
