Former WWE star Sheamus, now going by S. Farrelly, may not be immediately jumping back between the ropes following his WWE departure, but he's not skipping any time in the gym. The star took to Instagram on Friday to share some snapshots while training, and a number of his former co-workers took to his comments.

Sheamus shared two photos and a video of himself hitting seated shoulder shrugs with 120 pound weights, alongside the caption, "shrug it out." Finn Balor was the first star in his comments, leaving a toilet emoji, seemingly in reference to Sheamus' face while lifting the impressive weight.

"Settle down fella," CM Punk commented, alongside a fire emoji.

Grayson Waller called the star a "machine," while Bayley left a comment about missing him. Plenty of fans left comments as well, with many saying they hope he ends up in AEW.

As of a Fightful Select report on October 1, there had been no discussions between Sheamus and AEW as of that time. The outlet reported that some performers within the company's locker room would like to see Sheamus become "All Elite." The star also recently booked a convention appearance on the same day as AEW Full Gear, but reportedly asked to be able to leave the event early, as he indicated he had a wedding to attend, making wrestling fans suspicious.

Sheamus' most recent match came last November. He teamed alongside John Cena and Rey Mysterio to defeat Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, and Balor. His last televised singles match was a Last Time is Now tournament match the same month against Shinsuke Nakamura. After his victory, it was revealed Sheamus had to exit the tournament due to a shoulder injury.
