Arsenal midfielder Martin Zubimendi could return to Spain, with Barcelona and Real Madrid reportedly interested in signing the 27-year-old.

The Spain international has been used as a rotation player since joining the London club. According to Teamtalk, both La Liga clubs are monitoring his situation.

Barcelona view Zubimendi as a potential replacement for Netherlands midfielder Frenkie de Jong. However, Real Madrid are considered the more likely destination if the player leaves Arsenal.

Zubimendi is valued at €65m by Transfermarkt. His contract with Arsenal runs until the summer of 2030.
