The 10bet Lions have welcomed back Bok halfback Morne van den Berg ahead of their final Vodacom United Rugby Championship tour match against Glasgow Warriors before the November break.

Van den Berg, who was rested last week ahead of the Edinburgh clash, returns to the starting line-up with Nico Steyn dropping to the bench.

The Lions will be hoping to try and get their first win outside South Africa since 2024 after a poor set of results overseas and face an uphill battle, arriving as rank underdogs against Franco Smith’s side.

There are other changes with a new front row - SJ Kotze and RF Schoeman both start while Griquas loan hooker Tiaan Lange gets his first start. Springbok Boan Venter, who was omitted from the Bok touring squad this week, is on the bench.

Captain Francke Horn has some new loose trio partners in Siba Mahashe and Siba Qoma respectively as the Lions shuffle their back row.

Sikhubuzo Notshe, Boeta Chamberlain and Richard Kriel are all among the subs to give some second half impetus to the side.

10bet LIONS: Quan Horn; Kelly Mpeku, Henco van Wyk, Bronson Mills, Erich Cronje; Chris Smith, Morne van den Berg; Francke Horn (captain), Siba Qoma, Siba Mahashe, Ruan Delport, Etienne Oosthuizen, RF Schoeman, Tiaan Lange, SJ Kotze.

Replacements: Morne Brandon, Boan Venter, Conrad van Vuuren, Dylan Sjoblom, Sikhumbuzo Notshe, Nico Steyn, Richard Kriel, Boeta Chamberlain.
