Tottenham could wear a predominantly pink away shirt for the first time in the club’s history in 2027/28.

Nike’s plans have reportedly changed, with the latest information pointing to a very different colour scheme from the one first leaked in August.

Tottenham 2027/28 away kit leak reveals pink design

According to Footy Headlines, Tottenham’s 2027/28 away shirt will feature ‘Elemental Pink’ as its main colour, with ‘Jersey Gold’ and black used for the detailing. The two secondary colours are expected to feature on the Spurs crest, Nike Swoosh, sponsor branding and trims.

It would be the first time in Tottenham’s history that the club has released a predominantly pink outfield kit. While Spurs have experimented with a wide range of colours over the years, pink has never been the main colour of their home, away or third shirts.

The final design of the shirt has not yet been revealed, with only the colour combination known at this stage. Footy Headlines expects the kit to be launched in July or August 2027, although Tottenham have not officially confirmed a release date.

The latest information is interesting because it differs from what had previously been reported about Tottenham’s 2027/28 away kit. Back in August, SpursWeb reported that Nike were planning a predominantly black shirt, with Platinum Violet and Jersey Gold detailing.

That earlier report also suggested the return of Tottenham’s traditional interlocking THFC monogram in place of the usual cockerel crest. However, there have been further developments since those initial details emerged.

In September, fresh leaks suggested Tottenham could bring back light blue for the 2027/28 campaign, although there was uncertainty over whether that design would be used for the away or third kit. With pink now being reported as the main away colour, it remains unclear what will happen to the previously leaked black and light-blue designs.

Spurs goalkeepers are already familiar with pink

Although Tottenham have never released a predominantly pink shirt for their outfield players, the colour is nothing new for their goalkeepers. Pink and magenta featured in the 2025/26 goalkeeper collection, while this season’s goalkeeper kit also features a bright pink design.

Pink also appears in the pattern on Tottenham’s current 2026/27 away shirt, which has a dark navy base. That is very different from using pink as the dominant colour across the entire shirt, as Nike are now reportedly planning for 2027/28.

There will be another major change to Tottenham’s shirts in 2027/28, regardless of whether the pink design goes ahead. The club confirmed in November 2025 that AIA will no longer be its front-of-shirt sponsor after the current campaign.

Instead, AIA will become Tottenham’s Global Training Partner from July 2027, with the new agreement running until June 2032. As SpursWeb previously reported, the change means Spurs will have the opportunity to introduce a new main shirt sponsor for the 2027/28 season.

Tottenham have yet to officially announce AIA’s replacement on the front of their shirts. It means supporters are still waiting to find out how the completed pink design will look with its new sponsor branding.
