Jordan Henderson has been voted the best player of the latest Premier League round after contributing two goals and an assist in Chelsea’s 5-1 win over Bournemouth.
The 36-year-old midfielder received 53% of the supporters’ votes following an outstanding individual display.
Henderson opened the scoring with a first-time finish in the second minute before setting up Morgan Rogers just 60 seconds later. He completed his brace with a free-kick struck into the top corner.
His performance also made Henderson the oldest Chelsea player to have a direct involvement in three goals in a single Premier League match.
The last player in the league to achieve the feat at an older age was Cristiano Ronaldo. In April 2022, Ronaldo scored twice and provided an assist for Manchester United in their match against Norwich.
Henderson is the second Chelsea player to win the award during the 2026-27 season. Cole Palmer collected the most votes in the opening round after Chelsea’s match against Fulham.
