Manchester United want to secure Bruno Fernandes with new long-term contract

Manchester United are seeking to keep Portugal midfielder Bruno Fernandes at the club by negotiating a new long-term contract, according to Teamtalk, citing journalist Pete O’Rourke.

The 32-year-old’s current agreement with the Red Devils expires next summer, and the club’s priority is to extend his stay beyond the end of that deal.

Fernandes has been a Manchester United player since January 2020. His market value is estimated at €35m.

He has made six appearances in the current English Premier League campaign, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
