Zamalek forward Chico Banza has become embroiled in a dispute with the club’s leadership after his request for leave was rejected, while AC Milan are preparing improved contract terms for teenage prospect Alphadjo Cisse.
The disagreement follows Zamalek’s defeat by Al Ahly. Chico Banza asked to be excused from the team’s trip to Rwanda, where Zamalek are due to face APR FC, citing complicated family circumstances.
According to El Zamalek, club officials refused the request, arguing that the team’s sporting situation meant there was no room to adjust the squad at this stage of the competition. The decision has left the Angola international disappointed and increased internal tensions following this week’s loss.
Samir Chergui, who was linked with a move away during the summer transfer window, has remained with Paris FC and is playing an important role under the club’s management and coaching staff.
The Algeria international is entering the final year of his contract and has seen his value rise after a series of strong performances for both club and country.
Several European clubs are monitoring his situation ahead of next season, according to a source close to the matter who spoke to Maghreb-Foot. The most concrete approach so far has come from Al Sadd, who made a significant offer for Chergui last winter.
AC Milan are preparing to open talks over a new and substantially improved contract for Alphadjo Cisse.
Tuttomercatoweb reports that the club want to reward the rapid progress of one of their most promising young players. Cisse, an attacking midfielder of Guinean origin, joined the Rossoneri at San Siro in February 2026 and currently has a contract running until June 2030.
The 19-year-old attracted attention during a successful loan spell at Catanzaro, scoring 6 goals in 22 Serie B appearances. His form contributed to his move to Milan and also drew interest from PSV Eindhoven, Atalanta and Roma.
Nigerian midfielder Chukwudi Nwaodu has completed a move to Chabab Sporting Club Ghazieh, beginning a new chapter in West Asia.
The transfer follows successful spells with Enyimba, Heartland and Enugu Rangers. Nwaodu will now play in the Lebanese Premier League after joining the Lebanese club in a deal handled by agent Orji Telma.
