Tony Pulis has advised Manchester United to avoid another managerial change as Michael Carrick’s side continues to struggle for results.

The club have gone seven matches without a victory, with their most recent success coming at the beginning of September when they beat Sabah in the Champions League.

The Welsh coach believes repeatedly changing managers can have a damaging effect on any team. He says Manchester United should instead follow Arsenal’s example and give Mikel Arteta time to build his side.

Arsenal eventually won the Premier League title for the first time in 22 years after maintaining faith in Arteta, according to Pulis.

Manchester United are 15th in the Premier League table after seven rounds.
