Who will win club of the year at Ballon d'Or 2026? Men's and women's nominees in full
Harry Kane lauds 'tricky' Arsenal and thanks Spurs fans for wishes before Ballon d'Or ceremony

It’s time for the Ballon d’Or once more, and among the prizes up for grabs is the club of the year award.

Across both the men’s and women’s games, ten of the top-performing sides are nominated for the two prizes.

In terms of the men, Premier League champions Arsenal have been rewarded for a first top-flight title since 2004.

Mikel Arteta’s men also made the Champions League final, but came agonisingly close to what would have been a maiden European crown in Budapest, as they lost to Paris Saint-Germain on penalties.

Paris are also on the shortlist here, having won the award last year.

Luis Enrique’s men are fresh off retaining their Ligue 1 and Champions League crowns, with the addition of the Trophee des Champions, UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup.

In the final of the latter, they defeated Flamengo, who have been recognised for their Brazilian top-flight title, their lifting of the Copa Libertadores and their triumph in the Brazilian Super Cup.

Vincent Kompany’s Bayern Munich are nominated for their Bundesliga crown, the DFB Pokal and the German Super Cup, while Bodo/Glimt, the Norwegian outfit, are the wildcard nomination after finishing as runners-up in the Eliteserien.

On the women’s side, Man City won the Women’s Super League title for the first time, and Andree Jeglertz also led them to the FA Cup. They reached the semi-finals of the League Cup too.

Barcelona won the quadruple, scooping the Liga F, Copa de la Reina, the Super Cup and the Champions League crowns.

Bayern Munich won a domestic treble with the Bundesliga, DFB Pokal and Super Cup titles, while Lyonnes were runners-up in the Champions League, but recorded a domestic treble of their own in France.

Club America, meanwhile, won the CONCACAF W Champions Cup to go with their Liga MX Femenil and Campeon de Campanas trophies.
