"I'd achieved all my childhood dreams," he said, adding: "But my whole point of existence had been taken away. I didn't wanna live." Tyson's dad, John, is then seen explaining that the effect of stepping away from his career after defeating Klitschko was "far deeper" than he had anticipated.
"The Tyson that I knew was gone," Paris said, before adding: "And I was so scared." Tyson's dad appears after the pair finally bury the hatchet, having been at loggerheads.
The father and son fell out after a family feud when John shared his belief that Tyson's boxing days were in his past, following his trilogy with Deontay Wilder back in 2018, which took a severe toll on him. After Tyson vowed multiple times to retire from his professional career, John encouraged his son to keep his word.

John had claimed that he had no relationship with Tyson, adding that his return to the sport had "destroyed" what relationship they once had. Paris later said that both Tyson and John were "very stubborn" men.
However, the past seems to be firmly in the past for Tyson and John. Earlier this month, the sportsman shared a string of family photographs to social media and even tagged John in his upload.
Speaking previously, Tyson explained that within a year of beating Klitschko in 2015, his life rapidly spiralled. Rather than focusing on his impressive career, he turned to drink and drugs and went to bed, hoping he wouldn't wake up.

Speaking to BBC Sport, the boxer said: "I woke up every day wishing I would not wake up any more." However, he acknowledged his struggles and how he turned his life around, adding: "But I am living proof anyone can come back from the brink.
"There is a lot of people out there suffering with mental health problems who think all their days will be grey, but life can improve again and you will start to enjoy the little things again." Tyson previously abandoned a training camp in May 2016, and chose to go out "Drinking, Monday to Friday to Sunday – and taking cocaine."
He went on to add that he had been a "manic depressive" and the only way he could deal with his emotions was to "get drunk out of my mind."
