After four Grand Slam titles and months of competition, it all comes down to this. The 2026 tennis season will culminate in the WTA Finals and ATP Finals to decide the best pro tennis players of the year. The top eight singles players and doubles teams from the WTA Tour and ATP Tour will come together in November to compete in a round-robin tournament before moving on to the semifinals and finals.

This weekend, the women's tournament will kick off in California today with a round-robin competition. Which of the women's best players will prevail? Here's how to catch the action live today.

WTA Finals Schedule

While the WTA Finals and ATP Finals take place back-to-back, they are technically separate events held in different locations. The women's finals, the WTA Finals, will be held first from November 8 to November 15. The 2026 WTA Finals will take place at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, California. It was initially intended to be played in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but the venue was changed due to the ongoing war in Iran.

The men's finals, the ATP Finals, take place from November 15 to November 22. The 2026 ATP Finals will be played at Inalpi Arena in Turin, Italy.

For these events, singles players and doubles players will be placed into two groups of four. Everyone then plays three round-robin matches, and the top performers advance to the knock-out semifinals and finals.

Where to Stream the WTA Finals

While this season's Grand Slam tournaments, including Wimbledon and the US Open, were easy to watch on ESPN, those wishing to tune in for the WTA and ATP Finals won't be so lucky. Instead, Sinclair's Tennis Channel owns the rights to these end-of-season events, so you'll need to subscribe to the standalone streaming service, pay for a cable package that includes the channel, or have access to a live TV streaming service that carries it—and this can get expensive.

  • Tennis Channel: $11.99 per month or $109.99 per year
  • DirecTV: Tennis Channel is included with DirecTV's MySports base pack and costs $45 per month for the first six months.
  • Fubo: In order to get the Tennis Channel on Fubo, you'd need to pay for the Elite with Sports Plus tier of the service, which costs $78.99 for the first month.
  • Sling: The least expensive way to get Tennis Channel on Sling is to pay for the $46-per-month Orange plan and also get the Sports Extra add-on at $11 per month.
  • Hulu + Live TV: If you want the Tennis Channel with Hulu, you'll need to pay the $90 for Live TV, plus the $10-per-month Sports Add-on.
  • YouTube TV: To watch Tennis Channel on YouTube TV, you need to pay $60 per month for first two months of the base plan, then add the $11.99-per-month NFL RedZone with Sports Plus Add-on.

How to Watch the WTA Finals for Free

Not looking to pay for yet another subscription? Your options for watching the WTA and ATP Finals for free are limited since the Tennis Channel doesn't offer a free trial. Instead, you're better off signing up for a trial of a live TV service. These trials typically only last a few days, so make sure to time your sign-up correctly so you can watch the matches you want for no extra cost.

Who Is Playing in the 2026 WTA Finals?

The WTA Finals will feature the season's top eight singles players and doubles teams. Inclusion is determined by a points system in which finishes are scored and weighted by prestige, so a Grand Slam semifinal finish may be worth more points than a win at a lesser tournament.
