Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho spoke on the transfer process to Bursaspor.

He told the Bursaspor YouTube channel, “To be honest, I don’t talk much about transfer negotiations. I’m just trying to focus on my football. The transfer talks were handled between agents and executives. Of course, I was aware of the transfer negotiations and everything.

“My agent told me that contact had been made and explained everything to me in detail. I was happy and said, ‘I think this is a good and interesting place.’

“We reviewed everything together and saw that it was a quite serious, concrete contract and situation. Then I said, ‘This is a good place to go; they have a good history and past.’ That’s why we said we could come here moving forward. We were a bit delayed, but in the end, we’re here and enjoying every moment.”
