The Olympic Eagles defeated Grassrunners Academy 3-1 in a test game ahead of the 2027 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations qualifier against the Democratic Republic of Congo on Friday.

DR Congo will host Nigeria in the first leg at the TP Mazembe Stadium, Lubumbashi on Friday, November 13.

The reverse fixture will hold at the Remo Stars Sports Complex, Ikenne four days later.
