Paddysco Sports Academy has celebrated its 10th anniversary with a colourful ceremony highlighting its contributions to grassroots football development and the nurturing of young football talents.

The event, held under the theme, “10 Years of Impact, Excellence and Future Champions,” brought together football administrators, entrepreneurs, parents, stakeholders and other distinguished guests to celebrate the academy’s decade of growth and achievements.

Among the notable personalities in attendance were the Chairman of the Lagos State Football Association, Haji Gafar Liameed, and his Vice Chairman, Dr Dotun Coker, alongside members of the Badagry Divisional Football Association (BDFA) board.

The celebration featured entertainment, cultural performances and football demonstrations by the academy’s various age-grade teams, who showcased their technical abilities, tactical understanding and development under the guidance of their coaches.

Parents also expressed their pride in the academy’s contribution to their children’s football development, discipline, confidence and character, acknowledging their role in supporting the institution over the years.

The anniversary also provided an opportunity to recognise outstanding academicians, dedicated staff and individuals whose contributions have supported the academy’s growth and achievements over the past decade.

Speaking at the event, the President and Chairman of Paddysco Sports Academy, Mr Peter Okereke, assured parents and stakeholders of a brighter future, disclosing plans to establish stronger international partnerships and attract foreign scouts to the academy.

He said the initiatives would improve the academy’s international visibility and create more opportunities for its young players to showcase their talents and pursue professional football careers.

As it enters its second decade, Paddisco Sports Academy says it remains committed to grassroots football development, talent discovery and producing well-rounded players capable of making their mark locally and internationally.
