CR Belouizdad begin search for new coach after Nabil Maaloul departure

Nabil Maaloul has resigned as head coach of CR Belouizdad, bringing his spell in charge of one of Algeria’s leading clubs to an end.

The Tunisian’s decision was officially confirmed, although the precise reasons for his departure have not been disclosed. His exit leaves the club facing uncertainty over the next stage of its technical project.

CR Belouizdad’s management must now consider its options and identify a successor capable of overseeing the team’s domestic and continental commitments. No interim coach has been appointed at this stage.

Maaloul’s resignation comes during a turbulent period for African football, with an increasing number of coaches leaving their positions across the continent.
