Kasımpaşa secured a convincing 3–1 victory over Çorluspor, with African stars Thierno Diarra and Mourtadha Ben Ouanes making decisive contributions in the cup encounter.

Malian forward Thierno Diarra opened the scoring in the 45th minute, converting a pass from Güven Yalçın to hand Kasımpaşa a crucial lead just before half-time.

Çorluspor restored parity through Y. Kaplan in the 56th minute, but Kasımpaşa responded almost immediately. Tunisian international Mourtadha Ben Ouanes turned provider four minutes later, setting up M. Deniz to put the hosts back in front at 2–1.

However, the victory came with an injury concern as Malian winger Fousseni Diabaté was forced off in the 68th minute after sustaining a knock.

A. Yavuz sealed the victory in the 82nd minute, completing the 3–1 win for Kasımpaşa. Diarra’s opening goal and Ben Ouanes’ creative contribution proved instrumental as the Turkish side progressed with an impressive performance.
