Ondřej "MONSTEERR" Petrů began his career in 2020 with Enterprise Esports, competing in several Tier 2 and Tier 3 tournaments.
In 2021, he played for several different teams, most notably Team Heretics' academy roster, which competed in Rising Spain.
During the 2022 season, he played one split of Rising Spain with Giants Gaming's academy team before finishing the year with Acend, competing in EMEA Challengers and Superdome, where they finished as runners-up behind Fnatic.
In 2023, he continued playing for Acend, winning the Eastern European league twice and finishing third in VCT Ascension, coming very close to securing a place in VCT. Towards the end of 2023, he decided to step away from competitive play to focus on his studies.
Nine months after announcing his retirement, he returned to the competitive scene, playing in and winning several Tier 3 tournaments.
In early 2025, he signed for Movistar KOI Fénix, Movistar KOI's academy team. With them, he reached the semifinals of Split 1 and won Split 2 of Rising Spain. Thanks to these strong performances, he was promoted to KOI's main roster, playing in the final split of the year in VCT.
For the 2026 season, he joined Eintracht Frankfurt, with whom he finished as runners-up and reached the semifinals of Split 2 in the DACH League (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). They went on to win the Last Chance Qualifier, earning a place in the VCT EMEA Play-In, where they defeated Gentle Mates, Team Heretics and Eternal Fire to secure a spot in the VCT Playoffs. They were eliminated in the first round of the Playoffs by Team Liquid, who would eventually finish as European runners-up. He was also called up to the Czech national team for the Esports Nations Cup qualifiers.
MONSTEERR's goal for 2027 is clear: compete in VCT for the third consecutive year and prove that he belongs at Tier 1 level. To achieve this, he will first have to win the Open Qualifier.
Valorant competition returns this Thursday, November 5, with the first round of Open Qualifier 1. Come and cheer us on, Culers!
