Rams unexpectedly rule out TE Terrance Ferguson

Rams coach Sean McVay said Friday that Terrance Ferguson would return Sunday barring a setback. The Rams released their injury report and had ruled out Ferguson.

Ferguson, who was working his way back from an ankle injury, is now listed with a hamstring injury, too. It’s an indication he injured his hamstring at Friday’s practice.

He was limited in practice all week.

Ferguson injured his ankle in Week 3 and went on injured reserve Oct. 2. He returned to practice this week.

Tight end Colby Parkinson (ribs) is questionable, which could leave Tyler Higbee, Davis Allen and Max Klare as the available tight ends.
