The road to the 2026/27 MTN FA Cup Final has narrowed. At the end of a highly competitive preliminary round played from Friday, October 23 to Monday, October 26, 2026, 32 UMB Division One League clubs and 14 Division Two clubs have booked their places in the Round of 64.

They will now be joined by the 18 Ghana Premier League clubs to make up the full complement of 64 teams for Ghana's most thrilling football festival.

The Numbers:

• Total Preliminary Entrants: 48 DOL Clubs + 44 D2 Clubs = 92 Clubs
• Qualified: 32 DOL Clubs + 14 D2 Clubs = 46 Clubs
• Knocked Out: 16 DOL Clubs + 30 Division Two Clubs — a testament to the rising competitiveness of grassroots football.

The big boys are joining the party — the Obiaa Nye Obiaa Festival second gear engaged.

In line with the competition's #MyClubMyCommunityMyMTNFACup activation campaign, the Round of 64 draw will be conducted on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, in zonal groupings to produce sumptuous, delightful local derby pairings that bring elite football to community parks and excite fans across Ghana.

The 32 Round of 64 matches are scheduled to be played on the weekend of November 27 to Monday, November 30, 2026.
