Namibian referee Mweshitsama Negongo Naftal will take charge of the game. He will be assisted by fellow Namibians Alex Muzibwane Lumponjani (Assistant I) and Klaus Masati Bonifatius (Assistant II), while Petrus Amutenya will serve as the Fourth Official.

Sekamana Abdoul Khaliq from Rwanda will be the Match Commissioner, with Brian Nsubuga Miiro from Uganda appointed as the Referee Assessor. Danny Adotey from Ghana will be the Broadcast Venue Manager.

Ghana will be aiming to bounce back in the qualifiers after two defeats in their opening matches against Côte d'Ivoire and The Gambia, with an eye on six points against Somalia to get their campaign back on track.
