FC Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick has been awarded the title of Honorary Ramblista 2026. The Club’s first vice president Rafael Yuste accepted the award on his behalf at the Saló de Cent at Barcelona City Council, at the ceremony in which the distinction was presented.

The event, held on Monday afternoon, was attended by, among others, Barcelona Mayor Jaume Collboni and Àlex Balletbó, President of the association Amics de La Rambla, who were responsible for presenting the various awards.

Although he was unable to attend in person, Hansi Flick wished to be present for the occasion through a video message of thanks that was shown following the presentation of the award. In his message, the German coach expressed his gratitude for the recognition and highlighted the significance of being named an Honorary Ramblista, an award closely linked to the city of Barcelona and one of its most iconic landmarks. Afterwards, Rafael Yuste also addressed the audience. The ceremony concluded with closing remarks from Àlex Balletbó and Jaume Collboni, followed by a group photograph.

The jury decided to honour Hansi Flick for his commitment, values, perseverance, and trust in young people, as well as for helping fill Canaletes on La Rambla with joy and celebration through the sporting successes achieved by FC Barcelona.
