Derby eased the building pressure on boss John Eustace as they hit back to beat Bolton 2-1 in the Championship.
It was just a second win all season, a first home win at Pride Park, and a first victory in 11 games on Friday night.
They still find themselves four points adrift of safety, but will be feeling far better heading into the international break.
It looked like it was going to be another bad night for Derby as Bolton dominated the first half and took the lead just before the break through Ruben Rodrigues.
But the change was rapid after the break. Ryan Nyambe poked in his first ever career goal - in his 309th appearance - within 60 seconds of the restart. Jack Robinson then quickly netted to complete the turnaround.
Bolton pushed to find a way back, but Rhian Brewster thumped in a late third to seal a badly-needed win.
42: GOAL! It was coming! And it is not a surprise where it came from. Larrazabal has been excellent down the right. And he bombs in down the right before pulling a cross into the box for Rodrigues, who calmly slots past Zetterstrom.
46: GOAL! WHAT A START TO THE SECOND HALF FOR DERBY! Just what they needed. They launch forward and Morris' cross from the left is flicked on by Fuseini. And Nyambe is there to poke in at the far post.
49: GOAL!! HOLD THE BACK PAGE! This league makes no sense sometimes. Derby have turned this game around! A ball into the box is headed on by Morris, and Robinson is there to finish from close range.
53: WHAT A SAVE! Morris puts a ball across for Fuseini, who turns inside and shoots, but Bonham makes a brilliant stop! He may have kept Bolton in this.
70: WHAT A SAVE! How has he kept this out?! Gale teases a cross up to Dalby in the middle. He nods it on target and Zetterstrom gets down to make a brilliant save with his forearm.
90+4: GOAL! BREWSTER BRINGS THE HOUSE DOWN! He nicks the ball off Larrazabal, and then drives into the box and buries a shot into the top corner. That's the win for Derby.
Derby's John Eustace:
"We changed the shape at half-time, and the response from the lads was outstanding. The chips were down, we're not going great in the league, and the character of the group showed.
"It showed we're very much together. The two lads who came in [Shane Duffy and Robinson] for their first starts made a huge difference to use. We've been missing that experience all season, and I was delighted for the boys to go and get their first win at home.
"During really difficult moments during any season you have to keep believing in what you're doing. I've got amazing staff behind me, and the whole club are right behind the team.
"The mood around the training ground hasn't been amazing, but it's still been very positive. It's a fantastic club.
"It's really important that we don't get carried away with this win, but we need to enjoy it."
