According to a report by BBC Sport on Friday, October 23, 2026, Al Hilal claimed an important 3-2 victory over Al Qadsiah in their Saudi Pro League encounter.
Al Hilal started the game with confidence and took the lead in the 21st minute through Gabriel Martinelli, who finished after receiving a pass from Ollie Watkins. The visitors looked comfortable at that stage, but Al Qadsiah responded strongly and restored parity ten minutes later when Julian Quinones found the net from Musab Al-Juwayr's assist.
The hosts continued to compete for control of the match, making it difficult for Al Hilal to create clear chances as both sides went into the break level at 1-1. Al Qadsiah were hoping to use their home advantage to secure a positive result, but the visitors showed their determination to take all three points.
Al Hilal eventually regained the lead in the 77th minute when Ruben Neves scored after being set up by Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. The goal gave the visitors fresh confidence, and they increased their advantage seven minutes later as Milinkovic-Savic got on the scoresheet, with Sultan Mandash providing the assist.
Al Qadsiah refused to give up and continued pushing forward in search of a way back into the game. Their efforts paid off in the 87th minute when Mateo Retegui scored from Tijjani Reijnders' assist, setting up a tense finish as the hosts tried to find another equaliser.
Despite the late pressure, Al Hilal held on to secure a valuable away victory, showing their ability to handle difficult moments and take their chances when they mattered most. The result will give the team a major boost as the Saudi Pro League title race continues to develop.
The victory lifted Al Hilal to the top of the Saudi Pro League table with 27 points, while Al Qadsiah dropped to third position with 25 points after missing the chance to protect their place near the summit.
