The Flamingos will now face Brazil, who secured their semi-final qualification with a dramatic 2-1 comeback victory over China.
China initially took the lead through Wu Yichen in the 42nd minute, but Brazil responded immediately after the interval as Helena found the equaliser in the 46th minute. The Brazilian forward then completed her brace in the 88th minute to secure her country's place in the semi-finals.
