Jose Mourinho pushes Endrick to Arsenal

According to a report by FootballTransfers on Monday, November 2, 2026, Arsenal have renewed their interest in Brazilian striker Endrick, with the Premier League club reportedly holding discussions with his representatives ahead of the January transfer window as Jose Mourinho considers allowing the youngster to leave Real Madrid.

The 20-year-old forward has struggled to secure regular playing time under Mourinho despite showing encouraging performances earlier in the season. His limited involvement has reportedly raised concerns among his representatives, who believe consistent first-team opportunities are important for his continued development.

Endrick initially appeared to be making progress after playing an important role in Real Madrid's Champions League comeback victory against AS Roma. However, his situation has reportedly changed, with the Brazilian finding it increasingly difficult to establish himself in Mourinho's preferred lineup.

His only starting appearance this season came against Sevilla, where he failed to record a direct goal contribution after being deployed out of his natural position on the right wing.

The lack of regular opportunities has reportedly increased the possibility of a temporary departure, although Endrick would prefer to continue his career in the Spanish capital.

Michael Yormack, Roc Nation's football chief, recently discussed the striker's situation, acknowledging that the player's long-term career development could influence his decision.

He said, "He loves Madrid, he loves the team and his teammates, but at the end of the day, when you think about the lifespan of a career, it's short, and he wants to maximise it."

Yormack further explained, "I think his first choice would be to stay at Real Madrid, but he's got to play."

Arsenal have reportedly identified the situation as an opportunity to strengthen their attacking options, particularly amid uncertainty surrounding Viktor Gyokeres' future at the Emirates Stadium.

However, negotiations between the clubs could become complicated because Real Madrid reportedly favour a straightforward loan arrangement, while Arsenal would prefer an agreement that includes an option to make the transfer permanent.

Mourinho has previously demonstrated his reluctance to lose the Brazilian, insisting that he would "fight" anyone attempting to sign the forward.

Meanwhile, Italian clubs AS Roma and AC Milan are reportedly prepared to offer Endrick six-month loan opportunities, potentially creating competition for Arsenal.

With the January transfer window approaching, Endrick's future will depend on Real Madrid's willingness to sanction his departure and the ability of interested clubs to reach an agreement over the transfer conditions.
