Champions League Table After Man United Lost 4-1, Arsenal Drew 2-2, and Real Madrid Won 4-1

According to a report by BBC Sport on Thursday, October 22, 2026, the UEFA Champions League witnessed several entertaining encounters, with Manchester United suffering a 4-1 defeat to Como, Arsenal drawing 2-2 with Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid securing an impressive 4-1 victory over RB Leipzig.

The results have influenced the ongoing competition as Europe's leading clubs continue fighting for points and better positions in the league-phase standings. While Real Madrid celebrated a convincing victory, Arsenal demonstrated resilience against Bayern Munich, whereas Manchester United endured another disappointing European outing.

Manchester United struggled throughout their encounter against Como at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia. Nico Paz gave the Italian side an early advantage in the second minute, putting the visitors under immediate pressure and setting the tone for the remainder of the match.

Como strengthened their position after the break when Anastasios Douvikas scored in the 49th minute following an assist from Paz. The hosts continued to exploit United's defensive weaknesses, with Paz adding his second goal in the 57th minute to increase their advantage.

Jacobo Ramon extended Como's lead in the 76th minute with a well-directed header, leaving Manchester United facing a difficult situation. Joshua Zirkzee eventually scored a consolation goal during stoppage time after receiving a pass from Amad Diallo, but the late effort could not prevent a comprehensive 4-1 defeat.

Arsenal, meanwhile, earned a valuable point against Bayern Munich in an entertaining contest. Eberechi Eze opened the scoring in the 26th minute after receiving an excellent pass from Martin Ødegaard, giving the visitors an encouraging start.

Bayern responded through Alphonso Davies in the 35th minute following a move involving Harry Kane. The German side subsequently moved ahead in the 61st minute when Kane converted a penalty awarded after Jurrien Timber handled the ball inside the penalty area.

However, Arsenal continued pushing for an equaliser, and their determination was rewarded in the 82nd minute. Declan Rice found the net after receiving an assist from Viktor Gyökeres, securing a 2-2 draw for Mikel Arteta's team.

Elsewhere, Real Madrid recorded a commanding 4-1 victory over RB Leipzig. Bernardo Silva opened the scoring before Arda Güler increased Madrid's advantage early in the second half.

Kylian Mbappé added another goal in the 83rd minute with a long-range strike. Although Tidiam Gomis pulled one back for Leipzig, Yan Diomande restored Madrid's three-goal cushion after converting Brahim Díaz's assist.

The results left the three clubs with different outcomes. Real Madrid collected maximum points, Arsenal earned a draw, and Manchester United suffered a damaging defeat.

With more league-phase fixtures remaining, all three teams will seek improved results as they pursue qualification for the Champions League knockout stages.
