According to a report by GOAL on Sunday October 18, 2026, Manchester United players and staff are reportedly concerned that the presence of Amazon Prime’s All or Nothing documentary crew is affecting the atmosphere at Old Trafford and contributing to the club’s disappointing start to the season.
According to reports, some members of the squad and coaching staff feel uncomfortable speaking openly during post-match debriefs because of the constant filming. The situation has allegedly made it more difficult for honest criticism and tactical discussions to take place, with concerns that people are holding back their opinions.
Manchester United reportedly agreed to a £10 million deal to feature in the documentary, but the arrangement is now said to be creating tension behind the scenes. The concerns come at a difficult time for Michael Carrick, whose team have struggled for consistency in the opening weeks of the campaign.
United had managed just two victories in their opening nine matches across all competitions, according to the report. Their poor form has increased the pressure on Carrick, with a difficult summer transfer window and Lisandro Martínez’s reported explosive interview adding to the scrutiny surrounding the club.
Carrick previously played down concerns about the cameras when questioned about the documentary in August, insisting that the production crew had been respectful and that the players were accustomed to being filmed.
“That’s been fine,” Carrick said. “It’s obviously a little bit new, and unique, but the actual day-to-day workings of it, we have that many cameras around anyway that the boys are kind of half-used to it.”
Despite the reported concerns, Carrick has maintained that his focus remains on improving results and getting the best out of his players. The United manager also dismissed suggestions that the upcoming fixture would be his final opportunity to save his job, insisting that he remained committed to moving the club forward.
