According to a report by Madrid Universal on Friday October 30, 2026, Vinicius Jr is reportedly undergoing double training sessions every day as he fights to rediscover his best form and secure his place in Real Madrid's starting lineup.

According to reports, the Brazilian winger is also following a scientific training programme with the club to regain his confidence and the impressive performances that previously made him one of their most important players.

Real Madrid have shown considerable improvement in their last three matches, displaying greater attacking threat and better team chemistry. Interestingly, their strongest performances have come during Vinicius' absence, raising questions about his importance to the current setup.

The Brazilian is now facing serious competition for his position under Jose Mourinho. His place in the starting eleven is no longer guaranteed, especially with other attacking options impressing the coaching staff.

Despite the growing pressure, Vinicius is determined to change his situation. He has reportedly increased his workload by completing two training sessions daily. The forward is also working closely with the club's specialists to recover his best physical and mental condition.

Real Madrid remain hopeful that these efforts will help him rediscover his previous level. His quality and influence could still make him one of the team's most decisive players if he manages to regain his confidence.

Meanwhile, the winger has an important opportunity to impress Mourinho in the Champions League. Vinicius is serving a four-match La Liga suspension and still has two matches remaining before he can return to domestic action.

He started Real Madrid's previous Champions League encounter against RB Leipzig but delivered an average performance. Yan Diomande subsequently entered the game and made a stronger impression during his brief ten-minute appearance.

The upcoming Champions League meeting with AEK Athens could therefore become a crucial opportunity for Vinicius. With Diomande increasingly impressing Mourinho, the Brazilian must deliver a convincing performance to strengthen his chances of reclaiming his starting position.
