According to a report by London Evening Standard on Monday October 26, 2026, Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has secured 11th place in the final 2026 Ballon d’Or rankings after experiencing a challenging season at club level before impressing for England at the World Cup.
The England international struggled to maintain consistent performances for Real Madrid during the 2025/26 campaign, with injuries also affecting his availability and overall contribution throughout the season.
Bellingham finished the campaign with eight goals and five assists in 40 appearances across all competitions, figures that reflected a difficult period compared with his previous performances.
However, the midfielder produced an outstanding display at the World Cup, scoring seven goals and helping England secure a third-place finish in the international tournament.
His impressive scoring record earned him the Bronze Boot after finishing as the competition’s third-highest goalscorer, strengthening his position among the leading individual performers of the tournament.
Bellingham’s contributions for England, combined with his performances for Real Madrid throughout the season, helped him finish 11th in the final Ballon d’Or standings.
The midfielder also finished above several notable footballers, including Real Madrid teammate Vinicius Junior and Marc Cucurella, who occupied 17th and 18th positions respectively.
Spain’s World Cup-winning players Ferran Torres and Pau Cubarsi also finished below Bellingham, taking 16th and 12th place respectively. Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Vitinha ranked 14th in the final standings.
With three of Real Madrid’s four representatives in the final 30 having learned their positions, attention has now turned towards Kylian Mbappe, whose ranking remains undisclosed.
The French forward is widely expected to finish among the top three candidates, alongside Barcelona youngster Lamine Yamal and England striker Harry Kane.
