According to a report by Daily Post Nigeria, on Sunday October 18, 2026, Nigeria international Akor Adams scored the only goal as Venezia claimed a 1–0 victory over Napoli in Serie A on Saturday.

The result secured Venezia’s first league win of the campaign and ended a six-match losing run. Adams struck four minutes after the break.

He chased a long pass from Simon Sohm, held off Napoli defender Amir Rrahmani and fired toward goal. His effort took a deflection off Rrahmani before beating goalkeeper Alex Meret.

The goal was Adams’ second of the season for Venezia and proved decisive in a hard-fought contest. His finish gave the hosts a valuable boost against one of the league’s strongest sides.
