Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar’s old workout photographs have resurfaced on X after social media user Style Muse reposted them with a comment about President Bola Tinubu.

“I want to see Tinubu on a treadmill please,” Style Muse wrote alongside the photographs.

The pictures date back to October 2016, when Atiku shared images of himself exercising alongside a humorous remark about his support for Arsenal Football Club.

In a report published on October 6, 2016, Vanguard reported that Atiku had captioned the photographs: “Warming up for my medicals, so I can complete my transfer to Arsenal in January.”

His remark was a joke about joining the English Premier League club, not an announcement of an actual transfer.

By reposting the photographs with a reference to Tinubu, Style Muse brought the decade-old images into a new social media conversation. The post expressed a desire to see the president on a treadmill, although it did not indicate whether Tinubu had responded.
