Xabi Alonso has expressed his confidence in João Pedro, praising the Chelsea forward for his impressive performances and hunger to become one of the top strikers in the league. According to Alonso, consistency is a key quality every top striker must possess, as they are expected to make a difference in every game. João Pedro has demonstrated this ability by scoring goals and delivering important contributions when his team needs him most.

Alonso emphasized that becoming an elite striker requires more than talent alone. A player must be prepared to perform regularly, remain focused, and take advantage of opportunities throughout the season. João Pedro appears to be doing exactly that, showing determination and a strong desire to improve with every performance. His recent form suggests that he is growing in confidence and becoming an increasingly important figure for his team.

The manager also revealed that he had already seen João Pedro's potential to score plenty of goals before his current impressive spell. His belief in the Brazilian forward highlights the importance of recognizing a player's ability and giving him the confidence to fulfil his potential. With his movement, finishing ability, and attacking instincts, João Pedro has the qualities needed to become a consistent goalscorer at the highest level.

Alonso believes João Pedro can enjoy a very successful season because of his hunger for goals and his willingness to keep improving. However, maintaining this momentum will be crucial. If he continues to work hard, stay focused, and deliver in important matches, João Pedro could establish himself among the league's most dangerous strikers.
