Here’s How the UCL Table Changed After Real Madrid Won 3-2, Arsenal Won 2-1 and Liverpool Lost 3-2

According to a report by Sky Sports on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, the UEFA Champions League standings have experienced notable changes following the conclusion of several exciting Matchday 4 encounters, with Real Madrid and Arsenal strengthening their positions while Liverpool dropped points after suffering a disappointing defeat.

Real Madrid continued their impressive campaign with a hard-fought 3-2 victory over AEK Athens. The Spanish club had to fight back twice before Federico Valverde scored a dramatic late winner to complete their comeback. The result extended their winning run to four matches, taking their points tally to 12. They currently occupy second position, level on points with leaders Paris Saint-Germain but behind the French champions on goal difference.

Arsenal also recorded an important away victory after overcoming Slavia Prague 2-1. The Gunners demonstrated their quality to secure all three points in the Czech Republic, bringing their total to 10 points from four matches. Their latest triumph moved them into third position and kept them firmly among the leading contenders in the competition.

However, Liverpool experienced a difficult evening in Turkey after suffering a 3-2 defeat against Fenerbahce. Despite taking the lead twice during the encounter, the Premier League side eventually surrendered their advantage as their opponents completed an impressive comeback. The defeat ended Liverpool's perfect start to the league phase, leaving them with nine points.

Manchester City also claimed a valuable 3-2 victory against RB Leipzig, increasing their points tally to nine. Como attracted considerable attention after producing a remarkable 9-1 victory over Lens, taking their total to nine points and improving their position in the standings.

Other notable results included Borussia Dortmund's 2-1 victory over Real Betis, Porto's convincing 4-1 win against Napoli and Club Brugge's 2-1 triumph over PSV Eindhoven. Viking also defeated Sabah 4-1.

Following Wednesday's matches, PSG remain first with 12 points, followed by Real Madrid in second place. Arsenal occupy third position with 10 points, while Como, Barcelona, Aston Villa, Manchester City and Liverpool are among the teams completing the current top eight.

With more matches still to come, the battle for automatic qualification to the round of 16 is becoming increasingly competitive. Recall that the top eight clubs after the league phase will advance directly, while teams finishing between ninth and 24th position will have to compete in the knockout play-offs.
