  • Uganda Martyrs Lubaga Women FC 1-1 She Corporate FC

Auki Kigongo struck back almost immediately after She Corporate took the lead to earn Uganda Martyrs Lubaga Women Football Club a 1-1 draw in the 2026/27 FUFA Women’s Super League at Phillip Omondi Stadium on Friday.

She Corporate needed just three minutes to break the deadlock through Jesca Namanda, but their celebrations were short-lived. Kigongo responded two minutes later, restoring parity in the fifth minute.

The early goals set the tone for a lively contest, with Uganda Martyrs growing into the game and looking the more dangerous side as they pushed for a second goal.

However, She Corporate remained a threat. Rebecca Nakato came close to putting the visitors back in front in the 35th minute, but her free kick struck the crossbar as the teams went into the break level at 1-1.

The second half offered both sides a chance to find a winner, but neither could make the most of their opportunities.

With 20 minutes remaining, the scores were still level. Despite the late search for a decisive goal, both teams held on to share the points.

The result means Namanda moves to four goals this season, while Kigongo takes her tally to three.

The draw leaves the league standings unchanged, with Uganda Martyrs holding fourth place and She Corporate in fifth, both on seven points.

Uganda Martyrs will now turn their attention to a visit to St Noa Girls FC on Sunday, November 1, hoping to return to winning ways. She Corporate, meanwhile, will host Amus College WFC on Saturday.
