Zimbabwe champions Scottland have been knocked out of the CAF Champions League after they were thrashed 3-0 by Petro de Luanda on Friday.

Petro went into the match 2-0 down from the first leg.

They went ahead in the 18th minute through Ruben Aderito.

At the break, they were still going out. Jorge Pereira (67th minute) and Pedro Aparicio (85th minute) then got them through to the group stage.

Pressure will undoubtedly mount on head coach Norman Mapeza, as it seemed as if he had brought in for the African safari. With the league title defence also in some trouble, Scottland owner Scott Sakupwanya might say a few things.
