Manchester United will be without striker Benjamin Sesko until the New Year.
Sesko is expected to be out until at least January with a shin injury.
The 23-year-old has not played for the Red Devils since their defeat by Brighton in the Carabao Cup on September 16.
The Slovenian was substituted during that game in the 66th minute.
BBC Sport reports that Sesko has undergone multiple tests to try to get to the bottom of the problem, with manager Michael Carrick frequently asking when he will be fit to return.
It is believed that the issue is not shin splints but an impact injury, which is not quite the same as the initial problem.
This latest diagnosis means Sesko is ruled out of crucial fixtures coming up for United.
