Yan Diomande making strong case for bigger Real Madrid role

Yan Diomande is rapidly establishing himself as an important attacking option for Real Madrid after an impressive run of performances for the Spanish club.

The Ivory Coast international has recorded three decisive contributions in his past four starts, scoring once and providing two assists. His displays have highlighted both his attacking quality and his willingness to contribute defensively.

Against Rayo Vallecano, Diomande played 72 minutes and received a rating of 7.8/10. He then completed the full match against Elche, supplying his first assist for Real Madrid and earning a score of 8.5/10.

That performance also underlined his influence in the final third, while his work without the ball added to an increasingly complete contribution.

First Real Madrid goal against Villarreal

Diomande’s next landmark moment came against Villarreal. He spent 86 minutes on the pitch, scored his first goal for Real Madrid and helped his team secure victory.

His performance earned him an 8.1/10 rating and the man-of-the-match award.

He continued his strong sequence against AS Roma, registering a second assist in 79 minutes. That display was rated 8.5/10, further strengthening the impression that he is adapting quickly to life at Real Madrid.

Across those four starts, Diomande has played 327 minutes and has an average rating of 8.23/10. His goal and two assists mean he has made a direct contribution to a goal once every 109 minutes on average.

His pace, creativity and ability to influence matches have been complemented by a commitment to defensive duties, increasing his value within the Real Madrid team.

Long-term future in Madrid

Although he has made only a small number of notable appearances, the young Ivory Coast international is already gaining ground within the squad.

Diomande is under contract with Real Madrid until 30 June 2033 and is valued at 120 million euros. The length of that agreement reflects the club’s confidence in his potential, while his recent displays have created high expectations around his development.

The next challenge will be maintaining this level consistently and establishing himself as one of Real Madrid’s central figures.

Real Madrid will soon play their ninth league match of the season against Sevilla FC. The published odds from 1xbet place Real Madrid at 1.20 to win, with a draw priced at 5.80 and a Sevilla FC victory at 9.00.
