Barça Atlètic 2-1 Arnedo: Last-gasp win

Barça Atlètic have returned to winning ways with a dramatic 2-1 victory over CD Arnedo. The blaugrana took the lead through Pedro Rodríguez but saw the visitors equalise in the second half. However, they never gave up and were rewarded for their efforts in the 93rd minute, when Álex González struck the winner to spark wild celebrations. A hard-fought victory to restore confidence and secure three important points.

Into the lead

The reserves went in search of a goal from the first minute and controlled proceedings against an Arnedo side that defended deep. Ignasi Quer had an early chance to put them ahead, but his effort went wide. Barça kept pressing and, in the 34th minute, Pedro Rodríguez made it 1-0 with a shot from outside the area that the visiting goalkeeper failed to hold.

Before half-time, Arnedo had a good chance to equalise, but Iker produced a fine save to preserve Barça Atlètic's narrow lead.

Stoppage-time winner

Barça looked to extend their lead in the second half. Landry headed against the post from a corner and Mayans also had a good chance, but Arnedo eventually found an equaliser in the 68th minute, when Chacón headed home to make it 1-1.

The blaugrana refused to give up and kept pushing until the end. Just when the match seemed destined to finish level, Álex González took advantage of a cross from Landry and a mistake by the visiting goalkeeper to score the winner in the 93rd minute, sealing a 2-1 victory.

Three hugely important points after the defeat to Olot, helping the team regain confidence and momentum.
