Nicolo Tresoldi continues to enhance his reputation as one of the best young strikers in Europe, and his form could make Tottenham’s pursuit of the 22-year-old more complicated in January.
Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi is reportedly one of the strikers on Spurs’ radar, as the Lilywhites look to bolster their frontline in January.
However, Spurs are expected to face intense competition for the Club Brugge striker. Just a couple of days ago, it emerged that Man City and Chelsea could challenge Tottenham for Tresoldi.
The German U21 international netted yet another hat-trick on Monday as Club Brugge overcame STVV 3-2, which takes his tally to 16 goals across all competitions this term.

Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg has now revealed that Arsenal are plotting a move for the 22-year-old ahead of the January window.
He also shared that Barcelona showed late interest in Tresoldi in the summer but were put off by his €50m (£41.8m) price tag.
Plettenberg wrote on X: “Three hat-tricks in 4 weeks. 16 goals this season. Nicolo Tresoldi is in top form at Club Brugge. The decision between Germany and Italy for his international future remains open. For now, one thing is clear: he wants to represent Germany at the U21 EURO in summer 2027.
“Arsenal and other top clubs remain keen on him – also for January. Barcelona showed concrete interest in the days leading up to the last deadline day, but were not willing to meet Club Brugge’s valuation of around €50m.”

One would expect Brugge’s £42m valuation of the striker from the summer to have increased significantly, given the way the youngster has started the season.
Another issue Tottenham and the player’s other’s suitors may face is the fact that, according to TEAMtalk, Club Brugge have no plans to sell Tresoldi in January.
One source from the Belgian club was quoted as telling the website: “There is no appetite to let Nicolo leave in January. We know every major club in Europe is watching him, and that sets any market going forward, but not for January – the intention is to keep him for sure.”
De Zerbi’s men may thus be forced to look elsewhere in January if they want to add a reliable goalscorer to their squad.
