Football Manager 2027 is here to play and there will be many looking to start a new save with Celtic. But who are the most valuable players in the side?
Sports Interactive have made the game free to play from 27 October until 3 November before the full release on the 10 November.
Many Hoops supporters will fancy their chances at building on Martin O’Neill’s domestic double from last season, and even back themselves to make the Champions League main phase, unlike in real life.
So, without further ado, here are the five most valuable players in the Celtic first-team squad on FM27 this season.

What do you make of Martin O'Neill's decision to protect the board?
One of Celtic’s academy graduates, Kieran Tierney comes in at number five on the list.
When fit, he is one of the first names on the teamsheet and provides invaluable experience in the left-back role.
Unlike his first stint, he is one of the senior players in the side and as a former Premier League player, it’s no surprise to see him on the list.
After an electric World Cup campaign with Egypt, Celtic won the race to sign Haissem Hassan in the summer.
Although he has shown flashes of what he is capable of on the pitch in a Hoops shirt since joining from Real Oviedo, his stock is high and he definitely has what it takes to kick on.
Is he one of the most valuable in real life? Perhaps not. But, FM27 is tipping him to be one of the stars of the show.
This may be the first big surprise on the list. While there is no doubt that Cameron Carter-Vickers has been an excellent servant and is still the best centre-back in the squad, it’s a surprise to see him worth that much.
Carter-Vickers has struggled with injury and is being eased back into the squad at present but is also not the player he used to be.
His pace has slowed down and the 28-year-old is heading out of his prime. There may be some who sell to upgrade, but there may also be others who think he is still worth having around the dressing room.
Jota is injured at the start of the game and after 18 months out in real life, it is obvious to say that he is not the second-most valuable player in the squad when it comes to a transfer fee.
The winger is brilliant and since returning, has still looked like he has a lot to give. That amount of time on the sidelines though is bound to have caused some regression.
But, our superstar from Portugal is a fan favourite and everyone wants to see him tear it up down the wing again so, while he may be one to generate some funds with, he is still an important asset.
At the top of the pile is summer signing Mika Baur.
Aside from Camilo Duran, the German has been a brilliant addition for the squad and the fee of £6m paid to sign him looks a bargain compared to what the game prices him at.
Baur’s form has earned himself a national team call-up and he is steadily proving himself to be one of the most important players in the squad.
Not that he will be leaving Glasgow any time soon but, if he ever did, he would be one of the most difficult to replace, therefore making it understandable as to why he is the most valuable.
