Rashee Rice, Jaylon Moore out of Chiefs practice Wednesday

The Chiefs will remain without wide receiver Rashee Rice as they kick off the practice week.

Head coach Andy Reid told reporters that Rice will not practice on Wednesday because of the hamstring injury he suffered in Week 4. The Chiefs had a bye in Week 5 and Rice did not play in last Sunday’s win over the Chargers.

Reid said that Rice is improving, but didn’t offer any prediction about whether that process will progress fast enough for Rice to make his return against the Seahawks this week.

Right tackle Jaylon Moore will also miss practice after suffering a concussion against the Chargers. Jose Ezeudu replaced him in that game and the Chiefs could get Josh Simmons back into the mix as he continues to work his way back from a back injury.
