Just eight teams will be dreaming of Wembley glory by the time the Carabao Cup quarter-final ties take place. That’s officially business stage, folks.

Manchester City, the defending champions, are hoping to be in the pot, although Enzo Maresca’s team face a tricky tie against Premier League rivals Brighton in round four. League Two Fleetwood Town are the lowest-ranked side still standing and they face the little matter of hosting English champs Arsenal.

We’re guaranteed at least one lower-league team in the quarter-final draw. That’s because League One pair Bradford City and Peterborough meet in the fourth round.
