Ligue 1: Moses Simon features as Paris FC suffer late defeat at Lens

Super Eagles winger Moses Simon came off the bench as Paris FC were beaten 2-1 by Lens in Ligue 1 on Saturday.

Simon replaced Camara after half-time and provided an attacking threat as Paris FC looked to protect their lead, but Lens overturned the deficit to claim victory on home soil.

Paris FC took the advantage in first-half stoppage time. Luca Koleosho finished a rapid counter-attack in the 45+2nd minute after being set up by Lassine Sinayoko, sending the visitors into the break 1-0 ahead.

Lens responded strongly after the interval and increased the pressure on their opponents. Their efforts were rewarded in the 63rd minute when captain Florian Thauvin produced a composed finish to bring the scores level.

The equaliser shifted the momentum firmly in Lens' favour as the hosts pushed for a second goal. Their comeback was completed in the 83rd minute, with Thorgan Hazard scoring the decisive goal to secure a 2-1 win.
