Real Madrid Cruise to 3-0 Victory to Extend Winning Run

Mbappé, Bellingham and Diomande strike in the first half as Madrid secure their sixth consecutive win against Racing Santander.

Real Madrid continued their impressive run of form with a convincing 3-0 victory over Racing Santander on Sunday, November 1, securing their sixth consecutive win across all competitions.

Playing away at the Estadio El Sardinero in Santander, Madrid produced an impressive first-half performance, scoring all three goals before the interval to secure another important victory in LaLiga's 11th matchday.

Kylian Mbappé opened the scoring in the 11th minute after being brought down inside the penalty area by Matteo Prati. The French forward stepped up to take the resulting penalty and calmly converted it, giving the visitors an early advantage.

Madrid doubled their lead ten minutes later through Jude Bellingham. Arda Güler delivered an excellent through ball behind Racing's defence, allowing the English midfielder to advance towards goal. Bellingham rounded goalkeeper Julen Agirrezabala before finishing to make it 2-0.

Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham helped Real Madrid establish a commanding first-half lead.

The visitors extended their advantage in the 36th minute through Yan Diomande. Following a corner, the ball fell outside the penalty area, where the forward produced a powerful right-footed volley into the top corner. The spectacular finish gave Madrid a commanding three-goal advantage before half-time.

Racing Santander attempted to respond after the break and enjoyed greater attacking involvement, but struggled to create clear opportunities against Madrid's defence.

Mbappé came close to adding another goal in the 60th minute, but his right-footed attempt from inside the penalty area struck the right post. Bellingham also threatened later in the second half, although Agirrezabala produced a save to deny his close-range effort in the 77th minute.

A further talking point came in the 71st minute when referee José Luis Munuera Montero initially awarded Racing a penalty for a handball involving Aurélien Tchouaméni. However, following a VAR review, the referee overturned the decision, ruling that the contact was unintentional as the midfielder attempted to play the ball.

Bellingham appeared to add a fourth goal in stoppage time, but the effort was ruled out for offside. The match consequently finished 3-0, with Real Madrid maintaining their clean sheet and securing another league victory.

The result extended Madrid's winning streak to six matches in all competitions, providing further momentum as the club continues its campaign in domestic and European competitions.

For Racing Santander, the defeat was a disappointing outcome after conceding three first-half goals. Despite showing greater attacking intent following the break, the hosts were unable to find a way past Madrid's defence.

Real Madrid will now look to carry their winning momentum into their upcoming fixtures as they continue their pursuit of success in LaLiga and Europe.
