DUKE college football player Kimari Robinson came under fire for his actions towards a female staff member.
Cornerback Robinson was seen taking a frustrated swipe of his arm in the direction of the staffer.
The moment was captured on the live ESPN broadcast of Duke’s clash with North Carolina.
The female staffer ran onto the field to attend to injured player Dashawn Stone.
She seemingly tried to move Robinson out of her way, which the Duke cornerback apparently took exception to.
Robinson swiped his right arm in the staff member’s direction as she kneeled on the floor to attend to the injured player.
She seemed visibly shaken by the incident.
Social media users condemned Robinson’s actions and called for him to be suspended.
“Yes it’s horrendous,” one said. “Medical staff are first responders on the field.
“Take a knee and get out of the way.”
