ANGEL REESE has questioned WNBA officials after Atlanta Dream’s clash with the Golden State Valkyries.
The Dream were beaten 64-55 at Chase Center in Game 5 in their race to win their first-ever WNBA championship title.
The Valkyries won the first game of the series before the Dream dominated two in a row.
However, they have now lost two consecutive games, meaning the Valkyries have the advantage heading into Game 6 on Thursday.
As a result, history could be made for the San Francisco team should they win again in Atlanta.
Reese, 24, has admitted that there has been a big shift since the Dream won their second game.
She said: “We went up 2-1 and things shifted.
“I don’t know what happened, but it definitely took a big turn.”
The Defensive Player of the Year has admitted that she was left frustrated after seeing her teammates “slapped to the ground” or having their “goggles knocked off”.
Reese claimed that in the last game she was purposefully pulled by Valkyries star Gabby Williams.
At the time, she screamed “foul”, but the referee did not call it.
She said: “A lot of us are getting fouled.
“They’re not calling it or we’re talking to the ref after and they’re saying, ‘Oh, we’ll get you next time’.”
Reese has been struggling against Valkyries centre Kiah Stokes during the Finals.
She has previously admitted to not being aggressive enough against her rival and ended up rushing shots.
Reese has admitted that she is still figuring out “how to play through the physicality” though she is more “used to it”.

She added: “We’ll figure it out.
“We’re gonna have to just continue to push through the physicality and hopefully it goes our way next game.”
Dream coach Karl Smesko has hailed the defence of the Valkyries throughout the series.
After Game 4, he said: “But I do want to have Angel’s back here.
“The contact they allow on Angel compared to everybody else is just ridiculous, just ridiculous, and we should have gone to the foul line six to eight times more just on that.”
