Barça beat Semey 6-1 in their second UEFA Futsal Champions League Main Round match. With two wins from two, the Catalans go into tomorrow's final game already assured of top spot and a place in the last 16.

The game began evenly, with Semey shooting from distance and Barça looking for openings. Miquel Feixas made a fine save from Caio Torres before Eric Martel dispossessed Rodriguinho and beat Higuita one-on-one to open the scoring (0-1, min. 7).

Semey seek an equaliser

Javi Rodríguez's side grew in confidence, although Semey remained dangerous, particularly through Candido. Feixas was again called into action before Barça doubled their lead late in the first half.

Higor doubles the lead

In the 18th minute, Pito picked out Higor, who held off Orazov, turned and fired low past Higuita (0-2, min. 18), giving Barça a comfortable advantage at the break.

Barça started the second half strongly, with Touré and Pito threatening, but Semey responded. After Dídac had made an excellent save, Dedezinho pulled one back with a shot that deflected off Antonio (1-2, min. 25).

Barça pull clear

The response was immediate. Adolfo punished Higuita for losing possession upfield with a superb lob (1-3, min. 27), before Mouhoudine finished a counterattack a minute later (1-4, min. 28).

Pedrinho's dismissal for a second yellow card gave Barça a numerical advantage, and Eric Martel completed his brace with a low shot into the corner (1-5, min. 34). With Semey using a flying goalkeeper, Antonio won possession and scored from his own area to complete the 6-1 victory (min. 40).
